PPALOC Follow-up letters

Now that Wisconsin has a law to protect photographers, it will be necessary for individual studios to contact their school administrators to be sure they understand and comply with the new law.

The following letters have been designed to aid photographers in communicating with the schools in their area to help the administrators conform to the new law banning lock out contracts. Each letter is available in either Adobe Acrobat PDF format and MS Word Format, the two most universally accepted programs available for both major computer platforms.

Since several photographers from the same marketing area may send letters to the same schools, it is suggested that you use these letters as suggested templates and re-write them to fit you specific needs and purposes so each letter has a look of its own.

Send this Letter to School Principal & School Board of a Currently Locked Out School

A copy of this letter can be sent by PPALOC or SEWPPA, upon your request,
to a School Board in your area which has lock out schools still in force

By having either PPALOC or SEWPPA send this letter to your School Board, it take the spotlight off our your studio and show that this is indeed a Statewide concern. School Boards are ultimately responsible for all decision made in Wisconsin schools. By addressing the school board directly, your chances of gaining compliance by the school administrators will increase greatly.
