Professional Photographers Against Lock Out Contracts

The New Law - Wisconsin Act 132

The new law, signed on February 27, 2004, will be published on March 12, 2004 as Wisconsin Act 132.
The law will go into affect at this time and will prevent any new Lock Out contracts from being formed in Wisconsin
in the fuure. Existing Lock Out contracts are grandfathered until they expire. At that time, generally 1-3 years from now,
they will cease to exist and may not be renewed again. In a short period of time, all Lock Out contracts will disappear.

Failure to comform to Wisconsin Act 132 is a Felony offense in this state. If a photographer should encounter any
non-compliance on the part of one or more of their schools, you may file a complaint with the
Wisconsin Department of Justice.

Kindly contact a member of the PPALOC if you are having a problem with any of your schools.
